Chelsea Jade McEvoy is an Anishinaabe writer, filmmaker, and editor based in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, whose work explores identity, inclusion, and community. A graduate of the Film Production Program at Confederation College in Thunder Bay, she began her career as a training assistant director before forging her own path as a storyteller. Her award-winning films, including Wheel Love, Because She’s Adopted, and Re-Inventing the Wheel, examine the human condition through the lens of lived experience.
